I'm sorry but this page has to be in black and white it clarify what I'm saying.

What is Yahoo Chat?
Yahoo Chat is my favorite place to hang out and chat. It is located at http://chat.yahoo.com/ . It uses the I-chat plug-in you can download there (5 min on a 28.8 connection 10 on a 14.4). After down loading it you will have to close your web browser and run the program. It will start an automatic setup. The only thing you'll have to do is sit wait and then choose weather or not to read the read me file. Next you will have to re-open your browser and goto http://chat.yahoo.com and click the sign up button. The rest is self explanatory. after you have logged on to yahoo chat they send you a cookie that will automatically log you in every time you goto yahoo chat.

I-chat Tricks and Tips
Of course, what's chat without all the cool tricks?

Type before anything you want to be bold.
Type before anything you want Italicized.
Type Before anything you want underlined.(The will not show up on the chat screen)
If you type It comes out like this.here is what it would look like to the others on there chat screen. Crow-freak says, "It comes out like this."(were Crow-freak is your chat name)
One of the coolest things about the I-chat plug-in are the emotions list. This is not turned on at first. to turn it on you left click the down arrow that is just above your chat screen. Highlight "Options..." and left click that. Then highlight "Emotions List" on the menu that appears and left click it. Your emotions list comes up next to your people list. now you have to update your list (only 5 emotions show up at first). Right click in your emotion list box. Highlight and left click "Edit Emotions". a little action box appears. click the "Add All" button wait till it's done and then click "Ok"button.
To use the emotions is less complicated. If you just double click the emotion you want, depending on the emotion, It will either do that emotion to everyone, to your self, or Just do it. For example, If you double click "laugh" It will look like this to everyone else. Crow-freak laughs hysterically.(you just have to test the emotions out.)To do that emotion to a specific person left click the emotion you want to use once, then goto the people list left click the person you want to do the emotion to then right click there name and highlight "Blah Blah at Psycho_grrl"were Blah Blah=the emotion you picked and Psycho_grrl=the person you want to do the emotion to. It will look like this to the other chatters Crow-freak hugs Psycho_grrl. It will look like this to the person you do the emotion to Crow-freak hugs you.
You can also make up your own emotions or actions. just type : before what you want to do.":loves Psycho_grrl"comes out "Crow-freak loves Psycho_grrl."
Colors are also available. They only work in uncrowded normal chat rooms. They will not work in private rooms with "No Censoring". They are very easy to do. Type the color you want in <> . ex. "<green>Hi room!" comes out "Crow-freak says,"Hi room!"" most colors work. red, black, grey, green, pink, purple(i think?) but brown, rainbow, Fusa don't work. and the color you type MUST be in lower case. <BLACK> wont work <Black>wont work either.
When you combine all of the above you can do some really cool stuff. When ever someone leaves or enters a room it will say Crow-freak enters. or Crow-freak leaves. you can make it seem like you have left the room by typing this. :<black>leaves. and it comes out "Crow-freak leaves." when someone leaves for a private room it says, Crow-freak leaves, heading for a private room.this is fun to type :<black>leaves, heading for <red>Psycho_grrl<black>'s house. it comes out"Crow-freak leaves, heading for Psycho_grrl's house."
You can private message (talk to someone with out anyone being able to see it but that person and you) By typing /tell psycho_grrl I love you. to you this looks "you tell Psycho_grrl, "I love you."" to the person it looks like "Crow-freak tells you,"I love you.""
This is fun to make people wonder. type :<black>tells you,"<pink>you rule!<black>"this comes out "Crow-freak tells you,"You rule!"" and it makes that person think that you private messaged them saying that they rule...but you really said it to everyone.
With I-chat you can follow someone by typing "/follow psycho_grrl" with out the "" be care full...you can't stop following them...they have to make you stop following them. If someone is following you and you want them to stop then type"/stopfollow psycho_grrl" without the"" the will stop following you.
This is fun to tick the chat room off. type :<black>starts following you. it comes out "Crow-freak starts following you." this makes everyone think you are following them...Be careful..you'll have to explain that it was a color trick and that you aren't really following them.
When someone enters a room following someone it looks like this Psycho_grrl enters. Crow-freak enters following Psycho_grrl. I like to say that I entered following Satin to do this type :<black>enters following <red>Satin<black>. it comes out Crow-freak enters following Satan. also fun. Crow-freak starts stalking Psycho_grrl. just type :<black>starts stalking <red>Psycho_grrl<black>.
you can telaport to someone on yahoo chat by typing /goto psycho_grrl and there you be...ni the same room as the person.
Buddy lists: Click down arrow highlight and click "buddies..." type the person you want to add. click "add" button click "ok" button. this allows you to know if this person is online. it tells you Your buddy Crow-freak is now online. and says this Your buddy Crow-freak has just logged off. when that person logs off.
Manny Times i have been asked, How do you clone? well after mounths of searching I foound out how. but first what is cloneing? Cloneing is just like real life cloneing..you makeit look like the real thing. Like this: You wanna make a joke but you need somone else to say it...you dothe code and it looks like the pther person said it. This also works on non existant peopl like you want Bill_Clinton tosay that he is gay...well you do this code by typing:

either way it works..you just change the person and messages around and add or minus j's. now this code takes some playing with to get it right.but once you master it, you master the room.
Fell like anoying a room?? Try out my anoyance grid 4.0! it makes a box on the other chatters screens and it does annoy people... here is the simple code

to make those lovely lines just type < hr> and put a color in front you like.
Here is a lovely code that is a rare find. It is great for revenge, pissing a room off, or even shutting people up..the message can be changed to what ever you want..I use alot of diffrent things like: Virus downloaded. , C drive erased. , Yahoo chat servers have shut down. warnin! hacker entering your computer! and alotof others. this code uses the <white>< hr>'s to blank out the screen then the message you type shows up in bold black print. here is the code

:<black>says, "<blue>ya<black>" <white>< hr><white>< hr><white>< hr><white>< hr><white>< hr><white>< hr><white>< hr><white>< hr><black> You have lost connection to Yahoo! Chat servers. Please shut down your computer, reboot, and reconnect.

another thing to do in yahoo is make a beep on ther peopoes comps... just type <snd=>in front of what you say... i don't know if this works but it should.
